112 in Redneck Country

If I am offline for a good portion of the remainder of the weekend, it will not be because of the godawful heat. It will be because my new Dell desktop, complete with 20 inch flat screen monitor has arrived. If I have a stroke, it will not be from the heat. It will be from the frustration of being 57 years old and crawling around on the floor wondering "where this F*ing piece goes".

On another front, there are issues going on with my boss and I should not be allowed anywhere near the internet lest I say something that I will dearly regret.

Oh. And the new house? It is not yet to be. I have the financing lined up but the price is $11K higher than originally quoted. I will end up in that park however. I don't care if it's a single wide tin can with no storage space.

Hope your knees are in better shape than mine. You may not get up to see that fab 20" monitor.

My knees know that feeling well Pam. Good luck finding a lovely place in that Park. I LOVE my Dell even if it's a laptop with NO 20" screen. Ummm wish I could have typed that in green LOL.

Pam - you're 57, I'm 59...(which I love because all my other blogging buddies are young!).... Well my point is our generation is not all that cyber smart. Are there any young nurses you work with or any smart children of your peers/friends that can help you? Kids are SO good at knowing how to do this. Or you could ask a kid that works at Staples selling computers to come over after work to hook it up for $25-$40 (I did this once.) Good luck.

Ha Ha! Kmae must be right y'all. Still on the old computer. Turns out however, not only did I sleep a good part of Sunday, but the rest of the parts did not come until Monday afternoon. I would have been seriously frustrated.
